At deltatre I worked closely with Global Creative Director on exciting products and client’s pitches for the biggest names in the sports world and often had to step out of the comfort zone to design beyond traditional range of devices and beyond my role to take ownership of UX and Art Direction. I also had an opportunity to work on large scale products seen by millions worldwide.

I enjoyed working on this concept transforming these wireframes to fully working prototype in just a few days. Using gestures instead of old-fashion navigation is the way to improve navigation from reachability to better hierarchy clarity.

This pitch concept replaces otherwise very extended navigation with a simple feed customized just for you. Swiping every card horizontally shows you more and more details about each post.

Being involved in a new start-up and not only as a designer was an incredible learning experience. We came up with some awesome features making the most out of our smartphones. Well, I probably shared more than I should, I’m happy to share more in person.

Making something nice and modern while following poorly designed brand guidelines was exceptionally challenging same us not being involved in the UX process and handover to the developers.

Various small pitches like this one for TV Graphics helped to get out of my comfort zone. I found out TV is a whole different world with many limitations and accessibility being far more important than anywhere else.

Another huge step out of my comfort zone - Art Direction and visual examples of TV Graphics and video title sequence for European Tour pitch. Being unofficial (unfortunately, the pitch was put on hold) winner is definitely a good feeling!

Designing with many build restriction is always challenging the same as following ‘not the best suiting’ brand guidelines and having only two weeks to do the work. But successfully making an appealing design seen by 16m unique users (250m page views) is a sweet victory!

The project of my life! 6 months design-build, Visual Design team of one until receiving freelance support. All content for desktop, mobile, and apps same as for three different tours each with a different branding and different variations for pre, during and post-tournament (having a robust design system is a must-have as you can imagine). Also, designing for a website having up to 1m visits during the tournament weekend means every detail matters. Sounds fun right?
